As our other retreats are nearly full ( we have just 2 places left only on our Well Woman
Retreat now in September/October ) I have decided to run another retreat in the early
summer from the 20-25th June. The weather is going to be lovely and warm and as well as
our daily meditation and yoga practise we can spend our days at the beach and swimming in
the sea as it is not far from the house and it will add to the overall rejuvenating and relaxing
experience of the week. It is also an opportunity to celebrate together the summer solstice
on the 21st June and International Yoga Day.
We will start the days around 7am with morning meditation on the outdoor terrace as the sun
rises with mantra chanting and some inspiring readings/talks to start the day. This will be
followed by some light fruits and herbal teas and at about 8.30am our morning traditional
Sivananda yoga practise again outside. We will then have a hearty vegetarian brunch and
then free time to head to the beach or enjoy the local area. In the afternoons from 5.30pm
as the sun slowly starts to set we will have either an afternoon more gentle Yin practise of
yoga which is slower with longer holding of gentle asanas along with some pranayama and
meditation or we will have a workshop/lecture on an aspect of yoga philosophy. This will be
followed by a lighter vegetarian dinner and time to rest and relax before bed.
The price for a shared twin room is £425 and single occupancy is £545. The only other
costs would be the return transfer fee of £35 and your flight which if you book soon you can
get for less than a £100.
As I have a few already booked on this week, do book early if you are interested to come as
it is a smaller more intimate venue and so I will only take another 3-5 guests.
